This Boston firm imported from various European cities cloth of all kinds, hardware, cutlery, wines, stationery, cheese, white English salt, and Bibles. They sold these imported goods to merchants in New England and Philadelphia through "Trade Agreements". An interesting part of the collection is a package of drafts for supplies for the French fleet under Admiral de Grasse, 1781-1782.
